You spend the whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Throughout the warm months at Granite Mountain Trail Number Two Hundred Sixty One temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Granite Mountain Trail Number Two Hundred Sixty One through the winter commonly sink into the 10's.
