Even though this is not a very long backcountry hiking trail it's always glorious to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. to finish. Frye Trail Twelve is not very near Safford at all, but if you're looking for a tremendous spot to go backpacking, this is a tremendous selection. Arizona has so much to offer the outdoors lovers. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping.

Shorty Spring is always fun to check out, and Frye Trail Twelve is not far at all from Safford. Prieto Plateau is a beautiful place any time of year, and you can stay the night at Lower Juan Miller Campground.
You truly must adore Frye Trail Twelve. And
if that's not enough there's plenty more enjoyable things to do in the San Francisco Mountains. A glorious place to pop by in the neighborhood of Frye Trail Twelve is Fry Canyon, and there's some flowing water close by, Cave Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay. Fry Spring is a wonderful local attraction; Granville Campground is a great campground nearby.
