Now, this is roughly a 2-day walk, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Backcountry trekking here in Arizona is so much fun. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Novio Spring is an inspiring spot to go to while you're here, and some glorious nature is available in Santa Catalina Ranger District. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Rose Canyon; Crystal Spring_Butterfly Trail is a spot with many visitors from Tucson.
Shower Point Campground is a glorious campground nearby. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Crystal Spring_Butterfly Trail. Lemmon Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting, and you have to go to Windy Point when you're here. If you haven’t been to Saguaro National Park, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here, and Crystal Spring_Butterfly Trail is a great place to visit for more than one day, Bear Wallow Campground is a great place to camp nearby.
The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Boy Scout Spring; Peck Basin is a fine location to check out. Take a side visit to Gibb Wash; places like Bear Wallow are tremendous to stop at.
