Arizona hiking trails - Crest Trail, Cochise County

   
  If you happen to be in Arizona, why not go backcountry hiking, it is a splendid way to spend some time. This part of Arizona has a brilliant deal of available outdoors pursuits. Each great outdoors trail in Arizona has something unique to offer. This backcountry hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Crest Trail in Cochise County, Arizona is an excellent site for getting out. Of course, this is an overnight trek, 2.5 days normally,
    so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Crest Trail is 16 miles long; it's considered a longer trek. This is a backcountry hiking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Crest Trail is located a pretty lengthy tour from Nogales,
but there's great natural splendor waiting here for you along it. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. Some parts of Crest Trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking trail. Around Crest Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here while May is mostly the driest month. This is a neighborhood  
covered with lots of hiking and backpacking trails. High temperatures at Crest Trail through the summer are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 50's; overnight lows at Crest Trail through the wintertime frequently descend into the 30's. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There are many splendid great outdoors trails in Arizona, and Crest Trail is one of them, and it's in Cochise County. This hiking trail is a hiking trail of great length having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a glorious hiking and backpacking trail for experienced walkers in fine shape. The total elevation difference for Crest Trail is 2,102 feet which is about average.

If you came for an overnight stay Ramsey Canyon Campground is a great place to camp, and Brushy Canyon is a brilliant place to spend some time. Blacktail Spring is a wonderful site to take a look at while you're at Crest Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Turkey Creek.
A short visit to Deer Spring is always worthwhile, and getting to Soldier Creek from Crest Trail is uncomplicated. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Crest Trail. Garden Canyon Mobile Home is a great campground nearby, and don’t forget to have a look at Pine Park while you're here at Crest Trail.
