you go. Being 9.4 miles long; it's a long great outdoors hiking trail. High temperatures at Coon Spring Trail throughout the long summer days are in the 100's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's; during
the dark hours in the wintertime at Coon Spring Trail temperatures descend to the 20's. The length of this backcountry trail is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced walkers looking for a nice challenge.
Coon Spring Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,692 feet, and that is higher than average. Coon Spring Trail is not very in the neighborhood of Payson at all, but trekking it is always cool.

spend more than a day at, Roosevelt Partners is a fine local campground, and lots of folks from Payson come here. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. There's a great forest close to Coon Spring Trail called Sierra
Ancha Experimental Forest; Tonto National Monument is a very good spot to pop by.
Any time is a pleasant time at Coon Spring Trail if you go for the outdoors. A glorious spot to visit close to Coon Spring Trail is Devils Chasm, and if you're here, you could take a look at Oak
Creek. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Coon Creek Spring is an inspiring site to go to during your stay. A quick trip to South Fork Parker Creek near Coon Spring Trail is a splendid idea; if you came to camp Rose Creek Campground is
a nice place to do that.
The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Armor Corral Spring, and Salt River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by.
