    in Arizona is a wonderful idea. This wilderness trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out hike. This is a long backpacking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This wilderness hiking trail is a wilderness hiking trail of brilliant length
having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a glorious wilderness hiking trail for experienced backcountry hikers in great shape. Cold Water Trail is positioned a relatively lengthy drive from Prescott, but backcountry backpacking is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a perfect place to do that. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Around Cold Water Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the  
driest. During the warm months highs here at Cold Water Trail get into the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Cold Water Trail dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. There are so many wilderness hiking trails in this area. Different parts of this backcountry hiking trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry hiking trail. Of course, this is an overnight walk, 2 days normally, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Cold Water Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,883 feet which is higher than average.

A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling near Cold Water Trail is Verde River, and don’t forget to stop at Rodeo Flat if you're here at Cold Water Trail. This river is always fun. It's always great to check out High Spring.
Don't leave Cold Water Trail without first paying a visit to Brush Spring; Montezuma Castle National Monument is a very great place to stop by. Gospel Hollow is a perfect spot to go to close by; unsurprisingly Gap Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth going to. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cold Water Trail has to offer, you can camp at Yavapai-apache RV Park, and why not a little side tour to Towel Creek.
This spot is so good, just explore all the enjoyable things to do right next door to Cold Water Trail. Do set aside some time for Pine Flat since you're here at Cold Water Trail, and you can stay the night at Clear Creek Campground. This river is a wonderful place to visit. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Verde River; there's a nice forest called The Cedars.
