Arizona hiking trails - Coffee Flat Trail, Pinal County

   
  Arizona has plenty of good backpacking and hiking trails, and Coffee Flat Trail in Pinal County is one of them. Coffee Flat Trail is a long trip away from Payson, but you always have an excellent time when you're backcountry backpacking along it. If you happen to be in Arizona, why not go backcountry trekking, it is something that is always fun to do. Coffee Flat Trail is pretty arid ordinarily; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is June. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions
    and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This is just one of a large number of trails in this neighborhood. Every backpacking and hiking trail in Arizona has its own unique splendor. Coffee Flat Trail is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty
of supplies. This backcountry walk should take you about 2.5 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 930 feet which is lower than average. Summertime highs at Coffee Flat Trail regularly tend to be in the 100's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Coffee Flat Trail are in the 30's. This backcountry trail is a very long backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance  
which makes this trail nice for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Coffee Flat Trail is a one trailhead hiking trail, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Being 18.2 miles long; it's longer than many wilderness hiking trails. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and Coffee Flat Trail in Pinal County, Arizona is a really great place to spend some time. If you are in Arizona during backpacking season you have to go backpacking. The wilderness hiking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk.

Briefly about the general area:
Whiskey Spring is an inspiring spot to go to while here; Coffee Flat Trail is a good place to camp, Carney Springs Campground is a good place. This is a really good river. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Trap Canyon Spring; everybody loves Coffee Flat.
Coffee Flat Trail is in the neighborhood of Miners Canyon which is absolutely worth taking a look at; Burro Basin is a nice location here at Coffee Flat Trail. So much amusing stuff to do at Coffee Flat Trail, so little time. Some of the water nearby flows, like Milk Ranch Creek, and camping at Coffee Flat Trail is good fun, Peralta Canyon Campground is a good local campground.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Gila River, and hey, Lewis and Pranty Creek is a nice local stream.
