Arizona hiking trails - Castle Creek Trail, Yavapai County

Castle Creek Trail is situated a quite lengthy journey from Prescott, but backcountry backpacking along this hiking trail is very exciting. Castle Creek Trail
    goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. At Castle Creek Trail throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter
highs are in the 40's while Castle Creek Trail night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. This is one of many trails in the surrounding vicinity. This trail has a total elevation difference of 2,619 feet which is higher than average. There are numerous backpacking and hiking trails in Arizona, and each one has something unique to offer. From a rain point of view Castle Creek Trail is a reasonably typical location; the wettest month of the year  
is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and Castle Creek Trail in Yavapai County, Arizona is just what you need. With its 7.6 miles of walking distance it's an average length great outdoors hiking trail. This trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry walk it normally. With so many outdoors pastimes available in Arizona you'll never get bored. This great outdoors hiking trail is a mid length great outdoors hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a nice trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in perfect shape.

Bill Arp Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and Horsethief Basin is a stunning place any time of year. So many cool things to do here at Castle Creek Trail, too tremendous to be true. You're sure to run into some cheerful folks from Prescott here.
There's so much to do here at Castle Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Kentuck Spring Campground is a glorious site for that, and let's not forget East Boulder Creek which is a stream that you may come across while here. Castle Creek Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hazlett Hollow Campground is a great local campground, and don't leave Castle Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Burnt Ground Spring. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Mud Spring; while you're here, you might as well explore Tiger Canyon.
