Arizona hiking trails - Bull Run Trail, Yavapai County

   
  There are backpacking trails all over Arizona, and one of those is Bull Run Trail in Yavapai County. Relatively far from Prescott you bump into Bull Run Trail, but when you backcountry walk it you're always having a good time. Every backpacking trail in Arizona is beautiful in its own way. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. If you are in Arizona during trekking season you have to go trekking. Bull Run Trail is pretty waterless mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is mostly
    the driest month. For the duration of the warm months at Bull Run Trail highs are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bull Run Trail.
This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 2,681 feet which is higher than average. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Different parts of Bull Run Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This is a backpacking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The length of this trail is about average having an average  
number of uphill miles which makes it a brilliant wilderness trail for experienced walkers in glorious shape. Here in Arizona trekking is a nice idea. We all need to get out in the great outdoors once in a while, and Bull Run Trail in Yavapai County, Arizona is just what you need. There are so many wilderness trails in this vicinity. Sometimes this backpacking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Bull Run Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. Bull Run Trail is 7.8 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk.

Horsethief Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here; Battle Flat is a great location. Bull Run Trail beyond doubt is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Don't leave Bull Run Trail without first paying a visit to Gladiator Spring.
People from Prescott love to come to Bull Run Trail, and Bull Run Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Hazlett Hollow Campground is a nice local campground. A tour to Rainbow Spring will fill your spirit with good feelings, and Wild Flower Gulch is another nice location to have a look at close by. Tuscumbia Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and a great location to camp here at Bull Run Trail is Kentuck Spring Campground.
