Now this backcountry trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Bull Run Trail is 7.8 miles long it's an average length backpacking trail. Bull Run Trail gets very little precipitation; the month of August is the wettest
    with most of the rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. There are so many hiking trails in this neighborhood. Bull Run Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,681 feet which is higher than average. Rather far from Prescott you bump into Bull Run Trail, but backpacking
it is great fun any time. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Bull Run Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Bull Run Trail dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Backcountry hiking in Arizona is so much fun. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. You should count on this hike taking about 6.5 hours, but you  
never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. There are numerous hiking and backpacking trails in Arizona, and each one is worth backcountry trekking. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. This great outdoors trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally. The length of Bull Run Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this hiking trail wonderful for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Different parts of Bull Run Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.

Gladiator Spring is a striking place to check out while you're at Bull Run Trail, and Battle Flat is a great site to check out. If you came for an overnight stay Hazlett Hollow Campground is a perfect location to camp; Wild Flower Gulch is definitely a great place to pop by.
Kentuck Spring Campground is a fine campground nearby, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Prescott for sure. Looking for some flowing water? Try Tuscumbia Creek, and a short trip to Rainbow Spring is always worthwhile. Bull Run Trail in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Take a little visit to Horsethief Creek since you're here at Bull Run Trail.
