Blue Springs Trail is 10.8 miles long; it's a long backcountry trail. Blue Springs Trail is a very long hiking and backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced backcountry trekkers looking for a wonderful challenge. And keep in mind that  
there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. The total elevation difference for Blue Springs Trail is 909 feet which is lower than average. Blue Springs Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day backcountry walk, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Hitting the backpacking trails is always an exciting thing to do, and Blue Springs Trail in Coconino County, Arizona is a really fine place to spend some time. Every Arizona wilderness hiking trail has its own character. Through the warm days of summer at Blue Springs Trail highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blue Springs Trail are in the 10's.

Tanner Canyon Rapids is always fun to check out, and a good location to camp here at Blue Springs Trail is Roaring Springs Campground. Having a glorious time at Blue Springs Trail is uncomplicated. Lots of people from Flagstaff come to Blue Springs Trail.
Take a little journey to Comanche Creek if you're here at Blue Springs Trail, and Lava Canyon Rapids is a glorious local attraction. Getting to Espejo Creek from Blue Springs Trail is simple, and there are some good whitewater spots on Little Colorado River. Tanner Canyon is a good location to visit close to Blue Springs Trail, and Lower Basin is a scenic location any time of year.
