Arizona hiking trails - Bell Trail, Yavapai County

   
  Going for a backcountry trek here in Arizona is something that is always fun to do. Every single Arizona backpacking and hiking trail is beautiful in its own way. There are so many great backpacking and hiking trails for backcountry backpacking in Arizona, and one of these is Bell Trail in Yavapai County. Arizona has so much to offer the great outdoors lovers. Bell Trail is a hiking trail quite far from Prescott, but many people like to trek here to be close to the fresh air. This is a one trailhead backcountry trail, so you'll be backcountry backpacking
    it in and back out. Finally, backpacking time is here again, and Bell Trail in Yavapai County, Arizona is a great place for getting out. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp
fire. The amount of rainfall that falls at Bell Trail is right next door to the national average; March is when you get the most rain here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Keep in mind that this is a long backcountry trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bell Trail. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Bell Trail  
plunge into the 20's. Being 10 miles long; it's longer than many backcountry trails. Bell Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 2,165 feet, and that is about average. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of backpacking and hiking trails. The time needed for this hike is roughly 8.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This backpacking trail is a backpacking trail of perfect length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a nice backpacking and hiking trail for experienced walkers in magnificent shape. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping.

Briefly about the general area:
If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Creek Campground is a tremendous spot to camp; don't leave Bell Trail without first paying a visit to Lander Spring. Visit Spring Creek while you're here at Bell Trail, and Happy Jack Lodge and RV Center is a tremendous campground here.
A good location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Bell Trail is Wet Beaver Creek, and Roundup Basin is a scenic spot any time of year. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beaver Creek, and Bell Trail is in close proximity to Long Canyon which is positively worth visiting.
