Arizona hiking trails - Bell Trail, Yavapai County

   
  Going for a walk here in Arizona never gets boring. You'll have got to go far from Prescott to get to Bell Trail, but it sure is a a tremendous hiking trail. Each backpacking trail in Arizona has its own character. There are backpacking trails all over Arizona, and among these are Bell Trail in Yavapai County. Backcountry hiking in Arizona is such a brilliant thing to do. Keep in mind that this is a long backcountry trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. For the duration of the warm months at Bell Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's,
    and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; night lows in the 20's for Bell Trail. Gotta get out of the settlement man, and Bell Trail in Yavapai County, Arizona is a tremendous pick. The total elevation difference for Bell Trail
is 2,165 feet, and that is about average. This walk shouldn't take more than 8.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This is one of many great outdoors trails in the surrounding region. Some parts of this backpacking and hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking and hiking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking and hiking trail. This is a one trailhead hiking trail, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. This  
region does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This backcountry hiking trail is a backcountry hiking trail of wonderful length having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough great outdoors trail for advanced trekkers looking for a perfect challenge. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bell Trail is right next door to the national average; during March this area sees the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Bell Trail is 10 miles long; it's longer than many backpacking and hiking trails.

Briefly about the general area:
A pleasant journey to Roundup Basin is a splendid way to spend an afternoon, and Bell Trail is close to Long Canyon which is beyond doubt worth going to.
You can run the rapids of Wet Beaver Creek next to Bell Trail, and do explore Spring Creek if you're here at Bell Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bell Trail has to offer, you can camp at Happy Jack Lodge and RV Center, and while you're here at Bell Trail it's a great idea to visit Walker Basin. Stay the night at Beaver Creek Campground, and don't miss out on a journey to Montezuma Castle National Monument while you're here.
