Bear Canyon Trail is Black River - East Fork; a spree to Pine Flat revives the soul.
Just can't get enough of the San Francisco Mountains. Nearby Hogtrail Canyon is a good site to go if you're at Bear Canyon Trail, and as expected Middle Prong Creek flows through this region.
And that's not all the things to do here in the San Francisco Mountains. Honeymoon Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and Bear Spring is always fun to check out.
Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Blue River, and Prieto Plateau is right here at Bear
Canyon Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. There's some flowing water nearby, Wet Prong Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and do take some time to go to Clifton Ranger District since you're here.
