Arizona hiking trails - Baldy Trail, Mogollon Rim Mountains, Gila County

   
  Pretty far from Payson you come across Baldy Trail, but it's one of those places where backpacking is splendid. There are plenty of hiking trails in Arizona; each one of them is different from the others. Hiking trails are good and plentiful in Arizona, and Baldy Trail in Gila County is one of them. With so many outdoors things to do available in Arizona you'll never get bored. This great outdoors trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This trek shouldn't take more than 7 hours, but you
    never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. It is very dry here at Baldy Trail commonly; the month with most of the rain is March while June is commonly the driest month. The backpacking trails of the Mogollon Rim Mountains are a very perfect
way to see these mountaintops. Going for a backcountry walk here in Arizona is always an enjoyable thing to do. This is a long great outdoors trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors hiking trail is 3,403 feet, and that is higher than average. Some parts of this hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Baldy Trail is a mid-length backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backpacking trail splendid for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. With its 8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry walk. This great outdoors hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out trek. Summertime highs at Baldy Trail generally tend to be in the 100's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Baldy Trail. This is just one of a large number of backpacking trails in this neighborhood. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location.

Briefly about the general area:
All year is a perfect time in the Mogollon Rim Mountains if you love the outdoors. Get wet paddling on Tonto Creek, and the vistas at Tonto National Monument will blow your mind. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Baldy Trail.
Black Bear Spring is a picturesque site to visit while you're at Baldy Trail; while you're here why not explore Black Bear Saddle. Baldy Trail is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Burnt Corral Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and since you're here at Baldy Trail it's a brilliant idea to take a look at Big Oak Flat. Apache Lake Campground is a delightful campground nearby; a short journey to Dan Neal Spring is always worthwhile.
