Trail you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is March while June is usually the driest month. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. These backpacking and hiking trails here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains are a very good way

Briefly about the general area: Put some time aside
to spend at Black Bear Spring since you're here at Baldy Trail, and Big Oak Flat is a gorgeous site any time of year. This is a really good river. A tremendous site to camp here at Baldy Trail is Apache Lake Campground, and paddling on Tonto Creek is so much fun. All year is
a glorious time in the Mogollon Rim Mountains if you like the outdoors. Dan Neal Spring is a brilliant local attraction; the sights at Tonto National Monument will blow your mind. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Baldy Trail. Camping is available at Burnt Corral Campground; Black Bear Saddle is in the vicinity, and is a delightful site.
