This wilderness hiking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Even though this is not a very long great outdoors trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This wilderness hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 2,179 feet which is about average. With its 4 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry hike. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.
